Ownership
Your family's story stays yours.
Every memory you upload — every photo, every voice recording, every story — belongs to you and your family. LegacyVerse preserves it, but ownership always remains with you.
We do not sell your memories or share them with advertisers or data brokers. Your family's story is not a product. LegacyVerse exists to help preserve it for generations to come.
You remain in control. You can view, edit, and delete your memories. Export tools are being built so families can keep access to their stories.
Some LegacyVerse features may use automated or AI-assisted processing to provide the functionality you request — such as organizing family content, improving accessibility, or helping you find a memory. We do not use private family memories to train public or general-purpose AI models.

Media is accessed through temporary signed links that expire. There are no permanent public URLs to your files.

Database rules isolate each family's data. One family cannot query or see another family's memories.

Your vault is yours alone. Family members you invite get controlled access — nobody else gets in.
Account Continuity
Your memories don't disappear because life gets busy.
If you cancel a paid plan, your paid access continues through the end of the billing period you've already purchased.
After that, LegacyVerse provides a 90-day read-only grace period so your family can continue viewing and recovering existing memories while deciding what comes next.
During the grace period, existing content remains preserved and available for viewing, download or export where supported, and reactivation. New paid uploads and creation are paused until the plan is reactivated.
After the grace period, LegacyVerse continues preserving the family's existing content while keeping appropriate account recovery and reactivation paths available. We do not publish an automatic deletion countdown for preserved family memories.
