LegacyVerse
Guide
Everything you need to know about getting started, preserving Memories, privacy, billing, and more.
Getting Started
How do I get started?
Create your account, then create or join a Family Vault. From there you can add your first Memory — a photo, video, story, or Voice Echo — right from your Dashboard.
Do I need to invite family right away?
No — you can start preserving Memories on your own first, and invite family whenever you're ready.
Memories & Uploads
What can I upload?
Photos, videos, and voice recordings, each attached to a Memory with its own privacy setting.
Using iCloud Photos?
Using iCloud Photos? Some photos may need to finish downloading to your device before LegacyVerse can add them. If a photo won't load, open it in Photos first and try again.
Only upload media you have the right to share
Only upload media you created, own, or have permission to preserve and share. LegacyVerse is built for preserving your own family's memories — it isn't intended as storage for commercial movies, music videos, music libraries, or other copyrighted media you don't have the rights to.
What are the upload limits?
Up to 40 MB per photo, 500 MB per video, 20 photos per native picker selection, 40 files per upload batch, and 100 media items per Memory.
Privacy & Private Lock
What do Private, Family, and Circle Fam mean?
Private is visible only to you. Family is visible to authorized members of your Family Vault. Circle Fam is visible to your accepted Family Circle connections.
What is Private Lock?
An extra layer of protection you can turn on in Settings → Security, requiring a Private PIN to view your Private content on a given device.
Is privacy a paid feature?
Privacy isn't a premium feature. Every LegacyVerse plan, including Free, gives you the same Private, Family, and Circle Fam visibility controls — Free users are never shown ads and never have weaker privacy than a paid plan. What paid plans add is capacity: more storage, more Family member seats, and plan-specific capabilities like Today In Legacy.
Family Vaults
Can I own more than one Family Vault?
You can own exactly one Family Vault. Ownership of your Vault is tied to your account and doesn't transfer or duplicate.
Can I belong to more than one Family Vault?
You can belong to more than one Family Vault as a seated member (Co-owner, Member, or Child) at the same time, alongside the one Vault you own, if any.
How do I switch between Vaults?
If you belong to more than one Vault, a Vault Switcher lets you move between them. Whichever Vault you're viewing is your active Vault for that session.
Do Vaults share content with each other?
Each Family Vault's Memories, Family Tree, Calendar, and settings are separate from every other Vault — switching Vaults never mixes content between them.
Who's billed for which Vault?
Billing belongs to whoever owns a given Vault. Only that Vault's Owner can manage its plan, storage, and member capacity — being a Member or Co-owner of someone else's Vault never affects your own billing.
Family Tree
What is the Family Tree?
A visual map of your family's relationships — add people, connect parents, spouses, siblings, and extended family, and see everyone's place in the family story.
Family Calendar
What shows up on the Family Calendar?
Events you create, plus automatic dates — like birthdays — pulled in from your Family Tree.
Family Circle
What is Family Circle?
Your network of connections to people and other Families outside your own Family Vault — you control what's shared with each connection.
Billing & Plans
What plans are available?
Free, Seeker, Guardian, and Eternal — each with more storage and Family member capacity than the last.
Who can manage billing?
Only a Family Vault's Owner can manage its plan, storage, and member capacity.
What's the Founding Family discount?
Founding Families (the first 250 eligible Family Vaults) receive 20% off their first monthly subscription payment only — never annual plans, never every payment, never a recurring or lifetime discount.
What's your refund policy?
Refund requests should be submitted within 48 hours of the charge by contacting legacyverse888@gmail.com. Requests are reviewed case by case — refunds are not automatic. Duplicate charges, billing errors, and any rights required by applicable law may be handled separately. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal charges; it does not by itself refund a payment already made — those are two separate actions.
Installing / Refreshing LegacyVerse
How do I install LegacyVerse on iPhone or iPad?
Using Safari (the tested, recommended method): Open LegacyVerse in Safari. Tap the Share button. Choose "Add to Home Screen". Confirm by tapping "Add".
How do I install LegacyVerse on Android?
Using Chrome: Open LegacyVerse in Chrome. Tap the menu (⋮) and look for "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". Confirm the install — exact wording can vary by device and Chrome version.
Something looks outdated — how do I refresh?
Reload LegacyVerse if something looks outdated or a recent change hasn't appeared — Settings → Refresh LegacyVerse does a normal reload and never signs you out or clears anything on your device. If you installed LegacyVerse to your Home Screen, that app window may not show your browser's usual refresh control, so the in-app Refresh action is the easiest way to reload it.
Support
How do I contact support?
Email legacyverse888@gmail.com — we review requests individually.
Will LegacyVerse send notifications to my phone?
Pulse currently shows family activity and updates inside LegacyVerse when you open and use the app. Phone push notifications (iPhone lock-screen alerts, Android system notifications) are a separate capability and are not currently part of Pulse.
